Keilor Historical Society was formed in 1975
Keilor Historical Society was formed in 1975 by passionate residents of Keilor.
After a period of inactivity in the early 1980s the Society was revived in 1988 and incorporated in 1990.
Today Keilor Historical Society is made up of equally passionate volunteers who are interested in being actively involved in ensuring that Keilor’s history is preserved for future generations.
KHS serves to collect and share the stories from the region formerly known as the Keilor Roads Board, Shire of Keilor, and City of Keilor, in what is now the northern part of the City of Brimbank.
Members meets regularly at the Keilor Hub, both in person and by Zoom.
Our work ranges across a number of topics and our aim always is to share what we know, and to archive and maintain our collection.
