About

Keilor Municipal Offices circa 1950s

The Keilor Historical Society was formed in 1988

The Keilor Historical Society Committee is made up of volunteers who are interested in being actively involved in ensuring that Keilor’s history is not lost. It is responsible for the running and operation of the Society within the requirements set out in the Society’s Constitution.

Committee members are elected annually at the September AGM. Any financial member of the Society is eligible to stand for election as an office bearer.

The Committee meets regularly, at the Keilor Hub both in person and by Zoom.

Our work ranges across a number of topics and our aim always is to share what we know and to archive and maintain our collection so that we can display further works when needed.
